Snowed-in, a DIY Winter Wedding Idea and a Stylized Breakfast Sweets Table

Garett and Jessica Mayfield of Wednesday, a paperworks, event styling and coordinating design firm, collaborated with Oklahoma vendors and Ely Fair Photography to bring forth this event.

We brought the snow indoors by creating an installation with 180 strands of marshmallows to create an added space above the table and to serve as a backdrop for photos and a ceremony.  We wanted to create the kind of environment that felt so easy, comfortable and full of warmth. We did this by incorporating all the great textures and staples of a perfect, wintery Sunday morning at home. We replaced the traditional cake table and dessert bar with mountains of pancakes, crepes, doughnut holes and other brunchy sweets.
